Branches bend beneath fruit, fallen leaves gather below, and the landscape carries the beautiful melancholy of a place that has been left alone for a very long time.
Branches, fruit, foliage, grass, shadows, and repeating natural textures make this one of those puzzles that appears peaceful right up until you are staring at six nearly identical pieces of tree bark. The finished image rewards the effort with a richly layered autumn landscape.
